Door locks, contacts, photocells, and electrical installations used in external facade elevators are selected with IP65 or higher protection ratings. Stainless steel components are preferred. Ropes and sheaves are treated with anti-corrosion coatings to ensure long-term durability in outdoor environments.

Glass or Panel Cladding

The shaft exterior can be clad with laminated safety glass, aluminum composite panels, or steel sheet. Glass cladding provides panoramic views, while panel cladding offers thermal insulation advantages.
