What Is a Hydraulic Elevator?

A hydraulic elevator uses a hydraulic piston and oil pressure system instead of steel ropes to raise the cabin. Oil pressure generated by the hydraulic pump unit pushes the piston to lift the cabin upward. Descent is achieved by allowing oil to flow back to the reservoir through a control valve. Hydraulic elevators are preferred across Istanbul and Turkey, particularly in low-rise buildings, villa projects, and custom design applications.
